At the end of last year SmallBar worked with Metropolitan Brewing to offer a unique item for a fundraiser silent auction to benefit Best Buddies.

The winner got a chance to brew a beer with Doug Hurst at the Metro brewery!

The winner, the owner of SmallBar and Doug got together on a cold December morning and brewed a small batch Dunkel Rye. And now it’s ready to drink.

We’d like to invite you all to the tapping of this one-off brew. All proceeds from the sale of this beer will go back to Best Buddies.

Every Sunday, first thing in the morning, we’ll start a huge pot of rich, homemade tomato sauce. As the day progresses we’ll add house Italian sausage, homemade meatballs, pork butt, chuck roast, braciole, hard boiled eggs and more so that come 5pm we’ve got a huge stew and a great dinner ready for you!
