These two sister bars (plus a third too new to make our list, in Lincoln Park) offer one of the city’s best selections of international and domesitc microbrews (more than 100 options, 20+ on draft) and are equally generous in describing the beers for curious patrons. The notable barfood includes a burger we named one of the city’s best (September 2009 issue). Bonuses: the Ukrainian Village location regularly screens international soccer, while the Logan Square original has a lovely secluded patio.

I don’t know any other way to say it, but we nailed it this month.  Crazy beers, new beer menu, new food menu, new burgers, wild weekday nights, time out and chicago mags list of best bars…i said, i said a GOD DAMN!

Feb is going to be even better.  New Belgium RANGER IPA beer tasting/release   2.2.10 8pm. $4 pint. I tried this beer yesterday.  if it wasn’t great, i wouldn’t be doing this.

Green Flash IPA back on tap.  Harpoon Leviathan Baltic Imperial Porter on tap for the first time, and folks, it’s amazing. Bunch british beer back in stock, new weekly specials, Allagash back on tap, everythings rolling along quite well.

At some point this week, Three Floyds HAM ON RYE will be going on tap.  It’s quite a privilage to have this pub only beer on tap at small bar.  Will post as soon as it goes on.
